Named for early homesteader George Emerson Bean, it sits at the island's northernmost point, reached on foot through the peaceful streets of Anna Maria City. There are no facilities or parking lots here, which is exactly why it stays so serene. It is best for sunset and sunrise chasers and shell seekers who want a quiet, scenic north-end outing. Bean Point itself is residential, and a central Holmes Beach base like the Sandbox keeps it an easy trip. From our Holmes Beach home, reaching Bean Point is a short trip to the island's tip.
