Anna Maria Island: Your First Three Days
Every stay at the Sandbox is at least 7 nights, so here is a relaxed plan for the first three days of your week, with beach time, sunset stops, and pet-friendly dining near Holmes Beach.
Day 1
Arrive + beach walk + patio dinner
Check in from 4 PM, grab groceries, and walk to the beach, one house away. If your dog is with you, give it a neighborhood walk instead, since Holmes Beach bars animals from its beaches. Keep dinner casual.
Day 2
Beach morning + pool reset + sunset
Start early for cooler sand, relax by the private pool, then head out for a sunset view.
Day 3
Coffee + trolley ride + a slower pace
Grab coffee on the island, ride the free trolley to Bridge Street or Pine Avenue, and keep the rest of the week open for whatever you liked best.
Keep it easy
The goal is a calm loop: beach, pool, and a short list of stops. From Holmes Beach the Gulf is one house away, and the rest of the island is a short drive or free trolley ride.
